Terms of Use

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Rendez-vous helps users discover local activities, organize outings, interact with their community and create or share events.

Users must provide accurate information, protect their credentials and avoid impersonating anyone. Registration may require email confirmation.

Users remain responsible for events, images, notes, invitations, messages, links and media they publish, including the required rights for that content.

Rendez-vous may aggregate information from public APIs, free sources, websites that allow automated access, or partners. Third-party content remains owned by its respective rights holders.

When required by the source or useful for transparency, Rendez-vous may retain or display the source of information and a link to the original site. GeoNames data and City of Montreal open data are used under the CC BY 4.0 license with attribution. Artsdata data is used under the CC0 license; images associated with it remain subject to their original creators' rights and are used with credit when the source provides one.

Rendez-vous works to deduplicate, update and present information reliably, without guaranteeing prices, schedules, venues, cancellations or access conditions.

Detail or ticketing links may lead to third-party websites. Purchases, refunds and entry conditions are handled by the relevant organizers or platforms.

Illegal, misleading, discriminatory, harassing, violent, abusive or rights-infringing content is prohibited. Rendez-vous may remove content, limit an account or reject publication when a risk or breach is identified.

Conversations, invitations, tags, favorites, official chats and notifications help users organize outings and interactions around activities. Users must respect other participants.

The Rendez-vous brand, interface and original service elements belong to their rights holders. Third-party and user content remains subject to its own rights.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rendez-vous is not liable for indirect damages, inaccurate third-party information, service unavailability or user behavior.

The service may evolve, add cities, categories, providers, features or rules. Users will be informed of material changes through available means.

For removal, correction, reporting or questions about these terms, users may contact the Rendez-vous team through the contact form.
